I’m sick of seeing kids’ childhoods stolen. I think teaching toddlers to read is awful. Y’Know what they should do? TODDLE. Babies cry, crap, eat and be cute. They should not be doing simple math. Kids shouldn’t be pressured like this. Once they grow up, they will realize the world is hell, where you have to measure up and over in everything. Dress them in a pumpkin costume. Give them little apple wheels they can throw at your face. Let them be kids; Because once they become teenagers, they’ll need those memories when they close their eyes. They need those laughs when they cry. They need that feeling of ultimate love and freedom.
Wait…wait..wait…wait…wait…
…teaching kids to read is a bad thing how?
Seriously…what is this nonsense? Yes, sure, putting pressure on your kids to excel is generally not a good thing…teaching basic literacy and numeracy skills from an early age, however, is an excellent idea, and will mean that your child can more fully enjoy life.
Oh, but, wait…reading is boring, right? It saps all the joy out of life…
